This year will be one of the best-talented teams CIS T-Rex has ever had, and we are expecting to perform at a high level,” Keith said. “Our sports program has incredibly high expectations from within and from without. Coach Keith believes that CIS Lao Cai has the best talent in Lao Cai but we lack a lot of exposure here! We have Badminton, Basketball, Football, Cross Country, Track & Field, Table Tennis, and swimming!

Canadian International School Lao Cai sports program has added a major tougher schedule than before, including games all over Vietnam. Asia is a great place to coach, and I am so thrilled to be here coaching: Last 3 years I have coached in China, Vietnam , Myanmar & Hong Kong, but now I have found my home here,” Keith said!
CIS Lao Cai also requires all student athletes to have a 2.9 GPA or higher to be eligible to participate in sports as this is great. It’s always great to win championships, but my main goal is to get these student athletes to the next level,” Keith said. My goal is to join AISA or form a big conference in Lao Cai / Hekou area.
CIS Lao Cai is building quickly as in January our school had 28 students and now we have 200 students. Ian Wilson has come in and got to work. We have a great staff here and the students are amazing. Currently we have Grades 1-10 and boarding for Grades 6-10. Next Year we will be adding Grade 11.
So far, Keith has won 1 National Championship, 2 Regional Championships, 5 Provincial Championships, 4 Hong Kong Championships, & 6 coach of the year awards! Keith is also signed with Elite Sports Agency.
